Our Story
Hello and welcome.
At A Hint of Grey, we believe that lighting a candle is more than just filling your home with a pleasant smell. It's about creating an atmosphere of peace and relaxation, a moment to unwind from the stresses of daily life, an experience to enjoy!
Inspired by the nature of the Devonshire coast and countryside, our luxury soy wax candles are made using sustainable, plant-based soy wax, natural cotton wicks, and the highest quality non toxic oils, making them safe for you and the environment.
Our luxury candles come to you in a large glass vessel with an average burn time of around 70-80hours ~ if burnt correctly.

Our Ingredients
We use only the finest ingredients in our candles, free of harmful chemicals, making them safe for you and the environment. There are NO parabens, NO phthalates and NO petroleum in our candles. Each candle is carefully created with 100% sustainable plant-based soy wax, cotton wicks and non-toxic oils & essential oils.
We believe that using high-quality ingredients is the key to creating our luxury candles that look and smell amazing, and that burn cleanly and evenly.

Our Process
Every candle and wax melt we make is hand-poured with care in small batches in our garden studio in North Devon.
We use learnt and trusted techniques to create candles and melts that are both beautiful and functional.
Our artisan chandlers, David & Clair, take pride in every candle they produce, and we are confident that you will be able to see and smell the difference.
Our candles are large (30Cl) and have an average burn time of around 70 hours + if burnt correctly.
